He was formerly president, content & advertising at AT&T U-verse, where he was responsible for all content acquisition, including U-verse TV, wireless and broadband. He was also responsible for the advertising business across TV, mobile, broadband and data. Prior to that, as vice president, video products, Weber was responsible for video, including TV, multi-screen initiatives and applications.
Weber led the initial corporate strategy effort that resulted in the deployment and ultimate success of U-verse at AT&T. He was a key player with U-verse since its launch in 2006, and saw the business grow from no revenue or customers to more than 5M TV subscribers and a $12 billion-plus annual run rate on the platform.
