Cindy Lin

In 2004 Mrs. Cindy Lin established Infotainment China. With 27 years working experience in China’s entertainment industry, Mrs. Lin specializes in movie acquisition, film investment analysis, media corporation strategy. Receiving her B.A. from Beijing Film Academy in 1994 and an MBA from Melbourne Business School in 2000, Mrs. Lin has worked for Universal Studios, Disney, Kodak, Virgin Radio.

As China’s first private international sales agency and she has since been recognized by Variety Magazine as Chinese
cinema’s pioneering ‘Independent Spirit’, while Infotainment China continues to carve out an international distribution channel for Chinese art house feature films. Also specialized in co- production as one of official China co-production film companies authorized by SARFT, Mrs. Lin initiated the Chinese/International co-production market – “China Film Pitch and Catch Forum” at Shanghai’s International Film Festival 2007 as the 1st China film financing platform which becomes the most important funding forum attracting over a hundred foreign producers from overseas as well as leading production, and distribution companies from China annually, this film financing platform has been benefiting the Chinese emerging film talents for last 10 years.

Mrs. Lin is also the member of ACE European Producer Club and the Representative for Fintage House as the biggest Collection Account Management for film and TV worldwide.

In 2010 Ms. Lin successfully managed the company in expanding in foreign film acquisition and China domestic distribution with rapid strong track record with importing 150 foreign films in 7 years covering theatrical release,TV and New Media channels, including “Kubo and Two Strings” from Universal, “The Wailing” from Fox, “The Last Flag Flying” from Amazon, “Spy Kids 4” & “Nut Job” from The Weinstein Company , “Solace” & “American Ultra” from Film Nations, “Last Night” from Gaumont, “Ricky” from Le Pacte, “Incendie”, “Sleeping Beauty” from Eone ,”Personal Effects” from Voltage, “African Safari” from Studiocanel and more titles from the top film companies. Mrs. Lin has been mastering in nailing down the foreign movies for the emerging new generation viewers through VOD platform including Youku, Iqiyi, Letv, Sohu etc.
