Jared Jeffries

Jared Jeffries was named Echo Fox President on July 13, 2017. In this role he will be actively involved in roster selection and team management, player recruiting, hiring and managing team coaches and GMs and overseeing player training, health and wellness programs. He’ll also take a role in Echo Fox brand building, including overseeing the streaming platforms, social media efforts and sponsor and advertiser relationships.

Jeffries, 35, joins the Echo Fox family after spending the past four years in the Denver Nuggets NBA front office. He was promoted to Director of Pro Personnel prior to the 2016-17 season after serving as Pro Personnel Scout from 2013 to 2016. In these roles he worked closely with the team’s president, general manager and assistant general manager on all areas related to scouting, trade scenarios and draft preparation.

The Bloomington, IN native made the transition into the Nuggets front office after enjoying a successful 11-year NBA career. The 6-11 forward appeared in 629 career games (335 starts) for New York, Washington, Portland and Houston, averaging 4.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Jeffries was selected with the 11th overall pick of the 2002 NBA Draft after spending two years at Indiana University. He was named Big Ten Player of the Year, was a consensus Second-Team All-American and helped his Hoosier squad to the 2002 NCAA Championship Game as a sophomore.
