Vice President of Strategy, aXiomatic Gaming
As Vice President of Strategy, Mark Vela leads strategic initiatives for aXiomatic and its portfolio and also advises the aXiomatic Board and CEO on the selection, evaluation and prioritization of investment opportunities. Mark is a gaming industry veteran with over eight years of experience in the space and specialized expertise within Mobile games. He most recently led Games Merchandising Strategy on Google Play for the Americas region where he oversaw record-breaking growth for the games business. Prior to that he served as Director of Strategy, Operations & Product Management at Activision where he designed and built out a profitable Mobile gaming division.
Mark’s previous experience outside gaming included strategy consulting with Bain & Company for media & entertainment clients and sales and marketing for Procter & Gamble.
Mark received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
